They also assist individuals in better understanding others. The role includes leading, guiding, and directing the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services. Services must be provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures. The primary goal is to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
